1. Information We Collect

When you use ErazeBG, we collect:

• Account info: name, email, hashed password (or Google OAuth ID)
• Usage data: image processing history, credits used, timestamps
• Uploaded images: temporarily stored to process via AI, deleted within 24 hours
• Payment info: handled entirely by our payment processor (Paddle) — we never see your card details
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type (for security and analytics)

2. How We Use Your Information

• To process your AI image jobs
• To manage your subscription and credits
• To send transactional emails (account, billing, password reset)
• To prevent abuse, fraud, and policy violations
• To improve our service (aggregate, anonymized analytics only)

We do NOT use your uploaded images to train AI models.

3. Third-Party Services

To operate, we work with trusted infrastructure and service providers who may process limited data on our behalf:

• AI infrastructure providers — process uploaded images to generate results, then discard them
• Cloud hosting providers — store account data and temporary image files
• Paddle — our Merchant of Record, handles all billing and PCI-compliant card storage
• Google — only if you choose "Sign in with Google" (OAuth)
• Transactional email provider — sends account, billing, and password emails
• Analytics provider — anonymous, aggregate usage data only

All providers are bound by data processing agreements and applicable privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA). We never sell your data to advertisers or third parties. A current list of sub-processors is available on request — email privacy@erazebg.com.

4. Image Storage & Deletion

Uploaded images and AI results are stored securely on our servers and automatically deleted within 24 hours of processing. You may also delete results immediately from your dashboard.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising. We may use anonymous analytics cookies to understand site usage.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data — view it in your dashboard
• Update your name, email, password from Profile settings
• Delete your account and all data permanently from Profile settings
• Export your data — email support@erazebg.com

EU residents have additional rights under GDPR. California residents have additional rights under CCPA.

7. Data Security

We use HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, secure database storage, and regular security updates. No system is 100% secure — please report any suspected vulnerabilities to security@erazebg.com.

8. Children's Privacy

ErazeBG is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
